Combatting Denial in a Trump Post-Truth Era

Rutgers University | As founder of Humanities Action Lab, Liz Ševčenko has been combatting historical denialism head-on via participatory public-memory projects on incarceration, climate change, and other pressing issues disproportionately affecting low-income and communities of color across the U.S. Her new  book, Public History for a Post-Truth Era, uses her projects as case studies to show how, by bringing together people from different fields, these projects can be used to confront the past and be a catalyst for change in the Trump post-truth era.
